We celebrate the restored Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. We thank all the Malheur Headquarters staff – past and present – who have given much and worked hard to bring us to this new day. We thank the thousands of people of who donated time and funds to make Malheur Refuge a uniquely magical place. There is truly a spirit of renewal and reconfirmation of all that we cherish about this special place. This slideshow of a photo shoot last spring (2018) represents about fifty reasons why it is important to provide a place for wildlife, and for people who find Malheur National Wildlife Refuge an inspirational place to visit.
