Winter wildlife photography in Grant County, Oregon has been challenging. The 2016-2017 season has been especially brutal on both wildlife and photographers. We take extra care not to stress the subjects we see. It is important not to cause animals to panic or run, expending crucial reserves of energy. We hope if you drive country roads to enjoy the wildlife in beautiful icy scenes, you, too, will remain alert and aware of the struggle for wildlife to survive the winter.
